Somehow I kept my head above water. I relied on the discipline character and strength that I had started to develop as that little girl in her first swimming pool.

Swimming is one of the hardest sports.

Actually I always dreamed about getting a gold medal in the 100-meter freestyle in Olympic swimming. I always thought that would be the epic award in sports to get.
