Maybe our young people are not as vacuous as we would like to lead ourselves to believe - that all they're interested in is hairdos and looking at other beautiful people. Maybe they're interested in learning something.

But by taking the time away getting myself off the treadmill and just slowing down and learning I felt I had so much more to give back. And maybe that was something that needed to happen for all of us.

Every time you go in it's like starting over. You don't know how you did the other records. You're learning all over. It's some weird musician amnesia or maybe the road wipes it out.

Just like I find men who talk sports who don't really know sports annoying I think men might find women who don't really have a true passion and knowledge of sports maybe not so attractive.

If I was left to my own devices you would see about ten T-shirts in rotation with maybe a few nice pairs of jeans - but I also like to look good. I like feeling really well put together I just don't have the aptitude and the knowledge to do that.

People can do all kinds of things that maybe aren't wise in hindsight because of jealousy.

I guess something that I've noticed from American acts who had success in touring is more of an explanation as to their music. Which is I think quite funny. I think British acts might like to leave more to the imagination - maybe a bit more obscure perhaps - a bit more shy.

Painting and sculpture are very archaic forms. It's the only thing left in our industrial society where an individual alone can make something with not just his own hands but brains imagination heart maybe.

I like something where I can really use my imagination and be an active participant in the construction of the monster and usually that's in the world of the supernatural or the world of the fantastic so that's why those kinds of stories about demons and the supernatural appeal to me or maybe I'm really interested in that subject.

Incongruity they say is one of the main ingredients of humor. Maybe it's because everybody can feel superior to me. I honestly don't know.

Maybe there's a chance to get back to grown-up films. Anything that uses humor and dramatic values to deal with human emotions and gets down to what people are to people.

I'm not a traditional politician and I have a sense of humor. I'll try to soften it and become boring maybe even very boring but I'm not sure if I'll be able to.

You don't know what someone's going to walk away from a movie with but you hope it's something positive but if nothing you want them most basically to be entertained and engaged. That's your job. But you also hope to give them something to chew on or maybe some insight into the human existence you hope a little bit. Not to sound too lofty.

My hope is that we will turn Greece into maybe the most transparent country in the world with everything on the web.
