Creative risk taking is essential to success in any goal where the stakes are high. Thoughtless risks are destructive of course but perhaps even more wasteful is thoughtless caution which prompts inaction and promotes failure to seize opportunity.

You build on failure. You use it as a stepping stone. Close the door on the past. You don't try to forget the mistakes but you don't dwell on it. You don't let it have any of your energy or any of your time or any of your space.

Do not blame anybody for your mistakes and failures.

It is not because the truth is too difficult to see that we make mistakes... we make mistakes because the easiest and most comfortable course for us is to seek insight where it accords with our emotions - especially selfish ones.

Do not brood over your past mistakes and failures as this will only fill your mind with grief regret and depression. Do not repeat them in the future.

Do not fear mistakes. You will know failure. Continue to reach out.

I developed a mechanism so that whatever mistakes I made I would bounce straight back. Whatever was happening off the pitch I could put it to one side and maintain my form. Call it mental resilience or a strong mind but that is what we mean when we talk about experience in a football team.

But it's a journey and the sad thing is you only learn from experience so as much as someone can tell you things you have to go out there and make your own mistakes in order to learn.

Mistakes are painful when they happen but years later a collection of mistakes is what is called experience.

Experience is simply the name we give our mistakes.

You know nothing is more important than education because nowhere are our stakes higher our future depends on the quality of education of our children today.

My career was full of struggles and dreams disappointments and peaks and valleys. But there was no Twitter no Facebook or TMZ. Young actors could make mistakes and not become the focus of tabloids.

To appear on the stage drunk to have them leave there and remember me making drunken mistakes that was death.

I never saw my dad cry. My son saw me cry. My dad never told me he loved me and consequently I told Scott I loved him every other minute. The point is I'll make less mistakes than my dad my sons hopefully will make less mistakes than me and their sons will make less mistakes than their dads.

Take chances make mistakes. That's how you grow. Pain nourishes your courage. You have to fail in order to practice being brave.

Mistakes are always forgivable if one has the courage to admit them.

People think computers will keep them from making mistakes. They're wrong. With computers you make mistakes faster.
