I know lots and lots and lots of vegetarians who think it's perfectly all right to kill animals for food to eat but don't do it because they think all the ways in which it's done are wrong.

I've been to therapists my whole life. I find the less attention I pay to food the healthier I am. Any obsession is dangerous. And a whole country that's obsessed with one thing unless it's like jeans it's very dangerous. Everyone's obsessed right now with carbohydrates in this country. It's ridiculous.

If you don't want women to do whatever they need to do then you must provide them with food you must provide them with shelter and their basic human rights.

My gosh I love food. If I wasn't an actor I could be a completely different body shape right now.

I know a man who gave up smoking drinking sex and rich food. He was healthy right up to the day he killed himself.

If we could give every individual the right amount of nourishment and exercise not too little and not too much we would have found the safest way to health.

The problem of how we finance the welfare state should not obscure a separate issue: if each person thinks he has an inalienable right to welfare no matter what happens to the world that's not equity it's just creating a society where you can't ask anything of people.

Here's what the right-wing has in there's no shortage of the natural resources of ignorance apathy hate fear. As long as those things are in the collective conscious and unconscious the Republicans will have some votes.

I like normal stuff people fear - like spiders and heights. I'm frightened by the unknown by things that are hard to figure out and get a grip on.

Part of the reason that the government's fear mongering is succeeding is because so many people are so ignorant that it is easier for government to frighten people in submission.
