When you walk the track and you see a corner and realise you were going round it at 160mph you wonder who could be so stupid to take a corner at that speed. But in the car you don't even think about that.

To drive an F1 car you have to be a little mad. On the morning of a race there's a mix of excitement and fear. If it's a wet track then it's worse as you're not in control most of the time which is the thing all drivers fear the most.

I mean you've kind of got the track down especially with ovals. The only thing that improves is that when race conditions come you know what to expect slightly more from the track and from your car.

In this business my business I get to meet all kinds of incredible people fascinating people glamorous people and sexy people and highly intellectual people. And you meet them and you go 'interesting interesting interesting'. They're interesting but not very many people stop you in your tracks.

My favorite laser disk ever was the laser disk for The Graduate which had a commentary track that wasn't even the filmmakers it was a professor some film criticism guy who just happen to be this amazing commentator who went off into the whole theory of comedy.
