Your diet is a bank account. Good food choices are good investments.
As all human beings are in my view creatures of God's design we must respect all other human beings. That does not mean I have to agree with their choices or agree with their opinions but indeed I respect them as human beings.
Remembering that I'll be dead soon is the most important tool I've ever encountered to help me make the big choices in life. Because almost everything - all external expectations all pride all fear of embarrassment or failure - these things just fall away in the face of death leaving only what is truly important.
In my own relationships I know that I should break up with someone who doesn't encourage me to be strong and make my own choices and do what's best in my life so if you're dating someone who doesn't want you to be the best person you can be you shouldn't be dating them.

I also believe that government has no business telling us how we should live our lives. I think our lifestyle choices should be left up to us. What we do in our private lives is none of the government's business. That position rules out the Republican Party for me.
I did the best I could and in some arenas my best was not good enough. I've made some bad choices.
I have made the choices that work best for me. I know I cannot please everyone and that's fine.
One's philosophy is not best expressed in words it is expressed in the choices one makes... and the choices we make are ultimately our responsibility.
