We were probably the last people in the country to get a VCR and we didn't have cable. The best way to begin genuine bipartisanship to make America stronger is to work together on the real crises facing our country not to manufacture an artificial crisis to serve a special interest agenda out of touch with the needs of Americans.

The will to work of everyone in the country is the best guarantee of national survival.

The work ahead will be hard. These times demand the best of us - all of us but we can do this. Together we can do this. We can get this country working again. We can get this economy growing again. We can make the safety net safe again. We can do this.

America is the best half-educated country in the world.
