When I sing I have a sense of peace I feel like my brain turns off and I become the core person of who I am - the essence of me. I feel connected to whatever is out there. It's almost like I leave my body and get to watch.

I wanted to connect all people who are thinking about peace on Earth.

I grew up with no money. My kids will grow up with a lot of money and so it's really important to me and it will always be a part of my parenting to keep them conscientious and connected socially to other people.

The structure of life I have described in buildings - the structure which I believe to be objective - is deeply and inextricably connected with the human person and with the innermost nature of human feeling.

In nature we never see anything isolated but everything in connection with something else which is before it beside it under it and over it.

I think the difficult thing is the transition between TV competition series and going into the actual music industry. There still seems to be a slight disconnect there.

I see a lot of connections between folk and punk music just because they're both subcorporate music - I mean traditionally.

The calm mind allows one to connect with the inner self the Soul the very source of our being. That's where the music lives. That's where my music comes from.

Music is a lady that I still love because she gives me the air that I breathe. We need all sorts of nourishment. And music satisfies and nourishes the hunger within ourselves for connection and harmony.

Healing yourself is connected with healing others.

I think everyone who makes movies should be forced to do television. Because you have to finish. You have to get it done and there are a lot of decisions made just for the sake of making decisions. You do something because it's efficient and because it gets the story told and it connects to the audience.

I really love the independent movies and I just think that sometimes when they throw a lot of money into it and a lot of special effects and a lot of stunts that you lose the connection the human connection and I personally love movies that are about the human connection.

I've never really broken this down before but in movies you almost have no connection to fans. And if you do TV you're kind of connected but they know you as the TV name not your real name. If you do radio there's more of a bond there. And then if you do a podcast it's like you're literally inside of your fans.

I care about the connection with the audience. Film is such a powerful medium. Movies can change the way people think.
