You get to a certain age where you prepare yourself for happiness. Sometimes you never remember to actually get happy.

Age gives you a great sense of proportion. You can be very hard on yourself when you're younger but now I just think 'well everybody's absolutely mad and I'm doing quite well'.

As technology advances it reverses the characteristics of every situation again and again. The age of automation is going to be the age of 'do it yourself.'

Dressing up is a bore. At a certain age you decorate yourself to attract the opposite sex and at a certain age I did that. But I'm past that age.

When marrying ask yourself this question: Do you believe that you will be able to converse well with this person into your old age? Everything else in marriage is transitory.

If you're old don't try to change yourself change your environment.
