A lot of people are like 'So you want to be famous.' And I'm like 'No I want to be good at my craft. I don't care about fame I don't care if I even ever make it. As long as people know what I am as an actress in this business I'm set for my career right now.'

We are a very crafty family.

I went to drama school for four years at Carnegie Mellon conservatory training before television comedy. I was doing Shakespeare and Chekov plays. It's about delivering on the promise of a $100 000 education and taking the shackles off and trying the hand at my craft. I'm thrilled with what I've seen so far.

And I'm very surprised that all this stuff actually worked out to where I could have a career in film gain the benefit of my education and be thankful that I was able to break into my craft as an actor.

I would never do a commercial for something that is embarrassing and I think that people maybe have a different perspective on what is embarrassing or not. Some people think doing a Revlon hair commercial is really cool. To me that's embarrassing but World of Warcraft - not embarrassing very cool.

With my daughter we do arts and crafts we read a lot we listen to music and we cut the strings off balloons and bounce them around after birthday parties.

The Queen of Crafts herself Martha Stewart and I have the same birthday. I prefer to think it's the glue-gun wielding perfect-tart-producing Martha and not the copper pan-throwing jail-going Martha. But I suppose if I am going to share a calendar square with some of Martha I have to share it with all of Martha.

If it's flipping hamburgers at McDonald's be the best hamburger flipper in the world. Whatever it is you do you have to master your craft.

And I believe that the best learning process of any kind of craft is just to look at the work of others.

Learned Institutions ought to be favorite objects with every free people. They throw that light over the public mind which is the best security against crafty and dangerous encroachments on the public liberty.
