My story is the story of countless millions of children whose families and nations were torn apart for money in the name of Jesus Christ.

I grabbed my mom and I went to the couch and I said 'Mom I want to ask Jesus to come into my heart.' And I got on my knee and I asked Jesus to come into my heart forgive me of my sins and make me a child of God.

And I pray thee loving Jesus that as Thou hast graciously given me to drink in with delight the words of Thy knowledge so Thou wouldst mercifully grant me to attain one day to Thee the fountain of all wisdom and to appear forever before Thy face.

I hope that it can relate to and be a blessing to anybody with the hope that someday they will find Jesus Christ to be the same God that I've found Him to be.

I remember thinking That's what I need - and that hope was in Jesus Christ.

You know in my hometown of Hope Arkansas the three sacred heroes were Jesus Elvis and FDR not necessarily in that order.

I hope we never get to the point that we put ourselves in Jesus' place. But when I read the New Testament basically we get three mandates: to love God to love each other and to take care of the least among us. And I think this is at least a step in the right direction.

Religion kept some of my relatives alive because it was all they had. If they hadn't had some hope of heaven some companionship in Jesus they probably would have committed suicide their lives were so hellish.

I am reasonably happy. I didn't find Jesus or anything like that. Part of it is that I just feel that I could go home. I did not feel like that for a long time but I could go back now.
