Young people are fitter to invent than to judge fitter for execution than for counsel and more fit for new projects than for settled business.

In science as in art and as I believe in every other sphere of human activity there may be wisdom in a multitude of counsellors but it is only in one or two of them.

When I was seventeen I worked as a counsellor at a co-ed sleep-away camp for eight weeks. I loved it but it could be harrowing - it was far too much responsibility for someone my age.
