The chess-board is the world the pieces are the phenomena of the universe the rules of the game are what we call the laws of Nature. The player on the other side is hidden from us.

I like music that's more offensive. I like it to sound like nails on a blackboard get me wild.

I'm obsessed with the countryside: woods forests fields lakes mountains. I'm really into folk music and folklore. But more so I'm into electronic music. I'm into bands that have both aspects like Boards of Canada is a perfect example. You could listen to that type of music running through a woods. It's kind of what I wanted to achieve.

Getting over someone is a grieving process. You mourn the loss of the relationship and that's only expedited by 'Out of sight out of mind.' But when you walk outside and see them on a billboard or on TV or on the cover of a magazine it reopens the wound. It's a high-class problem but it's real.

Look at the same time that I don't want to be a celebrity I understand that when you make movies you put yourself out in the public eye. I'd be a baby and a fool to be like 'Why are there cameras taking pictures of me?' when I'm on a billboard for a movie. I think that's a very absurd concept.

I don't really make movies because I want to see my face on a billboard or because I want to get good reviews or have a big box office. That doesn't really matter to me at all.

I like all of the mental psychological thriller movies too. I enjoy horror movies across the board.

It takes more than driving to become an IndyCar driver. Gone are the days when drivers show up Friday morning and go home Sunday night. We're all integral to our partnerships commercially motorsports. We're as much champions in the boardroom as we are on the racetrack.

All we had aboard the ship that morning was one Annapolis graduate and three reserves.

We've got activists all across the country like the members of the Million Mom March organization some of their leaders are here tonight. We're phone banking congressional offices and pursuing editorial boards.

Washington has got to across the board lower taxes for small businesses so that our mom and pops can reinvest and hire people so that our businesses can thrive.

Corporate governance is a huge issue too. We don't have women on these corporate boards. More than half of the students in law school are women more than half of the women I think in medical school now are women.

I think I'm a combination of very simple pleasures and the fact I've read a lot of books. I don't think it's a binary opposition across the board in humans and I think I'm an example that it's not. I'm hosting gay marriage rallies and I have tons of guns at home. There's a lot of middle ground in the world and I'm one of those people.

Before marriage many couples are very much like people rushing to catch an airplane once aboard they turn into passengers. They just sit there.

Marriage is like a game of chess except the board is flowing water the pieces are made of smoke and no move you make will have any effect on the outcome.

I'm 0 for 3 with marriage - the scoreboard doesn't lie never has. So what we all have is a marriage of the heart. To sully or contaminate or radically disrespect this union with a shameful contract is something that I will leave to the amateurs and the Bible grippers.

We've got this gift of love but love is like a precious plant. You can't just accept it and leave it in the cupboard or just think it's going to get on by itself. You've got to keep watering it. You've got to really look after it and nurture it.
