The people of South Carolina support conservatives who are trying to push real change and the people of South Carolina expect their presidential candidates to back them up when they show courage.

President Obama and our all-of-the-above energy strategy is the real deal. We are proud of the fact that we are importing less oil than at any time in modern history and it has been because of the president's vision and courage.

The President regards the Japanese as a brave people but courage though useful in time of war is subordinate to knowledge of arts hence courage without such knowledge is not to be highly esteemed.

I think as - all in all it's better to have a cool president than a not cool president.

President Clinton is going to embrace President Obama as he should. They are working together. They're different kinds of people. Obama is cool Clinton is a schmoozer. Both are great speakers. It's a great merging of the party.

When I look at President Obama I see a leader with a cool head a caring heart and an open mind a president who has demonstrated through his demeanor and through his deeds that he is uniquely qualified to heal our divisions rebuild our nation and lead us to a brighter future together.

You want to balance the budget in this country? We change the salary structure for Congress and the President. Every year they don't balance the budget we don't pay them.

The reality of split government puts a premium on creativity within the administration. President Obama needs to put the right people in charge of the agencies and then have them push the bounds of administrative power to change policy through those agencies. President Obama has a pretty good track record of this.
