I'm trying to figure myself out through my movies. Whether it's big stuff like what we're doing here or little stuff like 'Why aren't I happier?' With every film I feel like I'm apologising for something. I feel I'm most successful when I'm looking for something that embarrasses me about my character that I'd like to expose.

There are movies where we are interested in seeing people's lives without agreeing with what they're doing.

Where I live nobody who's fourteen is having sex and doing major drugs. And I think if you see it in the movies you may be influenced by it. I think it's so important to preserve your innocence.

I was never into the popular school or clique or anything. Then I started doing movies when I was in high school so then I got popular. Then the girls paid attention to you who didn't before.

I doing casual labor by the day. They wouldn't pay you until the next morning. There was a bar that would cash your check if you bought a beer first. A lot of guys never left until they'd drunk up all their money.

Holiday? Is like what? I'm a hyperactive girl so it may be boring for me to be on the beach doing nothing. I just need to find a place for three weeks and work but sleep in the morning maybe write a little bit have a glass of red wine. That's my perfect holiday.

Some days I would be there at ten in the morning and wouldn't leave till ten at night and the others would waltz in for a couple of hours and then leave because I was doing that painting thing. And they were happy to see that being done.

The four of us couldn't have made a record with the time left over when we were shooting the show. We were on stage from 7.30 in the morning 'til 7 at night. Later on when there was a break from filming and we were sick of doing it the old way.

But of course when people watch morning television Terry it's a very different animal. You know they're running around they're getting their kids ready for school they're probably doing eight million things they're brushing their teeth.
