There's a logic to dreams that doesn't necessarily follow linear narrative. You don't know why things happen it's your subconscious pushing you to give you information.
For most of my 20s I looked like I was 12. Now that I'm pushing 40 I guess I look closer to... 15? It must be my macrobiotic diet. Oh wait except that I don't have one of those.
Good music comes out of people playing together knowing what they want to do and going for it. You have to sweat over it and bug it to death. You can't do it by pushing buttons and watching a TV screen.
So a more sensible thing it seemed to me was to go to Silicon Valley and be pushing on the technology companies to accelerate the use of audio and music in computers.
I just believe that the feeling of wonder is amazing. I am pushing myself as far as I can humanly push myself... I can only hope for the best and expect the worse.
From an early age I didn't buy into the value systems of working hard in a nine-to-five job. I thought creativity friendship and loyalty and pushing the boundaries of what was acceptable was much more interesting.
