I say let's go back to a truer use of the word 'freedom.' Let's start with President Franklin Roosevelt's Four Freedoms: freedom of speech and expression freedom of worship freedom from want and freedom from fear. I would add the freedom to bargain collectively. Those freedoms are under attack today.

Opportunity expands when there is excellence and choice in education when taxes are lowered when every citizen has affordable portable health insurance and when constitutional freedoms are preserved.

The quality that defines us as Americans is the courage to respond to being hit. The courage to root out and destroy the killers. And most importantly the courage to hold on to our values and protect our hard-won freedoms while doing it.

I'm a great believer that any tool that enhances communication has profound effects in terms of how people can learn from each other and how they can achieve the kind of freedoms that they're interested in.

The last of human freedoms - the ability to chose one's attitude in a given set of circumstances.

Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of human freedoms - to choose one's attitude in any given set of circumstances to choose one's own way.

The right to be let alone is indeed the beginning of all freedoms.

It doesn't matter what color sex religion age sexual orientation etc. everyone should have the same freedoms and liberties.
