I came on to the film with a very happy-go-lucky attitude which I think my character Charlie did when she went into the house. I expected it to be good and then slowly things started to change for us all.
I think physical comedy is an amazing asset because it tells a story that's more universal than just language and dialogue. I grew up watching Charlie Chaplin and Buster Keaton. They're very powerful figures in my life.
It was either Voltaire or Charlie Sheen who said 'We are born alone. We live alone. We die alone. And anything in between that can give us the illusion that we're not we cling to.'
