My wife gets all the money I make. I just get an apple and clean clothes every morning.

I always like to start my morning with a good amount of fruit. I really like pineapple particularly because of the enzymes that it has. Sometimes I have oatmeal. But if I'm feeling like I really want to be watching my weight more then I definitely do a protein like an omelet scrambled eggs or some smoked salmon.

I can't tell you enough about cinnamon. Cinnamon is an awesome spice to use and it goes great with something like apples in the morning or in a mixture of fruit or in your oatmeal or even in your cereal.

Pretty much Apple and Dell are the only ones in this industry making money. They make it by being Wal-Mart. We make it by innovation.

Innovation has nothing to do with how many R amp& D dollars you have. When Apple came up with the Mac IBM was spending at least 100 times more on R & D. It's not about money. It's about the people you have how you're led and how much you get it.

I never liked apples. In fact when I was a little girl my mom wanted to give me apples in my lunch box and I would ask for green peppers. So bizarre... It's funny - I don't have an apple a day but I can say that I have a few a week.

My mom didn't want me to go to college. She didn't want me to read - when I read I may as well have been holding a pineapple.

Why doesn't Apple stop for a year and make medical devices? When people talk about technology that's where I start to get a little hot under the collar because I know that it's the key to solving some of the world's biggest problems. Having a faster thinner telephone is not one of the world's biggest problems.

Each year has been so robust with problems and successes and learning experiences and human experienes that a year is a lifetime at Apple. So this has been ten lifetimes.

Millions saw the apple fall but Newton was the one who asked why.

The apple cannot be stuck back on the Tree of Knowledge once we begin to see we are doomed and challenged to seek the strength to see more not less.

Bottom line is I didn't return to Apple to make a fortune. I've been very lucky in my life and already have one. When I was 25 my net worth was $100 million or so. I decided then that I wasn't going to let it ruin my life. There's no way you could ever spend it all and I don't view wealth as something that validates my intelligence.

Even if I knew that tomorrow the world would go to pieces I would still plant my apple tree.

Love doesn't grow on trees like apples in Eden - it's something you have to make. And you must use your imagination too.

My favorite fruit is grapes. Because with grapes you always get another chance. 'Cause you know if you have a crappy apple or a peach you're stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. But if you have a crappy grape no problem - just move on to the next. 'Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.'

I'll always stay connected with Apple. I hope that throughout my life I'll sort of have the thread of my life and the thread of Apple weave in and out of each other like a tapestry. There may be a few years when I'm not there but I'll always come back.

I feel like I'm part of history being made. I leave Apple board meetings thinking 'I've got to do a better job.'
