On Thanksgiving I will stop to give thanks that my family is safe and healthy especially because I realize that following the tragedies of this year it is all too real a possibility that they might not have been.

Thank goodness I had a great family growing up a great foundation. But I will say my faith my parents my family all that stuff is very very important. And I'll say that until the day I die.

The children have been a wonderful gift to me and I'm thankful to have once again seen our world through their eyes. They restore my faith in the family's future.

But thankfully my first album 'Wide Screen ' was sort of a critics' darling - everyone raved about it but no one bought it. They only manufactured 10 000 copies I wasn't even in the running for failure!

I think most artists will experience a lot of negative people on Twitter but thank God I've got so many followers that I'm not able to see them that much. I'll see some from time to time but for the most part I always focus on something good.

I want people to think of me as a nice person. I really am so blessed. All of this has been a great experience and I thank the American public so much for putting me in this position. I appreciate every second of it.

The simple act of saying 'thank you' is a demonstration of gratitude in response to an experience that was meaningful to a customer or citizen.

I had one relative who passed away but fortunately none others. So my sort of experience of it is quite limited thankfully.

Thank God men cannot fly and lay waste the sky as well as the earth.

And I'm very surprised that all this stuff actually worked out to where I could have a career in film gain the benefit of my education and be thankful that I was able to break into my craft as an actor.

We need affordable space travel to inspire our youth to let them know that they can experience their dreams can set significant goals and be in a position to lead all of us to future progress in exploration discovery and fun. Thanks to the X Prize for the inspiration.

It was a lovely opportunity for the first time in my whole career to stand up and thank people who are really responsible for me getting to realize my dreams.

I've said it before but it's absolutely true: My mother gave me my drive but my father gave me my dreams. Thanks to him I could see a future.

I thank Marc Jacobs so much for giving me the opportunity to design a shoe for Louis Vuitton but the thing that broke my heart most was when they said 'You're finished. The shoe's finished.'

I hit rock bottom but thank God my bottom wasn't death.
