The history of men's opposition to women's emancipation is more interesting perhaps than the story of that emancipation itself.

History repeats itself first as tragedy second as farce.

It is the soothing thing about history that it does repeat itself.

But the fact of the matter is that all scientific evidence would show based upon what we know about this disease that muscle cuts - that is the meat of the animal itself - should not cause any risk to human health.

I believe that music in itself heals and that everything is about the power of the mind. I thought if you are happy you don't get ill. Your health is in your head. When you are satisfied with your work you don't get ill.

Modern medicine is a negation of health. It isn't organized to serve human health but only itself as an institution. It makes more people sick than it heals.

If you're working out in front of a mirror and watching your muscles grow your ego has reached a point where it is now eating itself. That's why I believe there should be a psychiatrist at every health club so that when they see you doing this they will take you away for a little chat.

For me however that beloved glowing little word happiness has become associated with everything I have felt since childhood upon hearing the sound of the word itself.

An act of goodness is of itself an act of happiness. No reward coming after the event can compare with the sweet reward that went with it.

Happiness is a byproduct of function purpose and conflict those who seek happiness for itself seek victory without war.

Part of the happiness of life consists not in fighting battles but in avoiding them. A masterly retreat is in itself a victory.

Politicians also have no leisure because they are always aiming at something beyond political life itself power and glory or happiness.

Growth itself contains the germ of happiness.
