O! what a Godlike Power is that of doing Good! I envy the Rich and the Great for nothing else!

Doing the right thing has power.

It's being willing to walk away that gives you strength and power - if you're willing to accept the consequences of doing what you want to do.

Liberty is not the power of doing what we like but the right to do what we ought.

I love being a wife and homemaker - because it's my choice. My husband doesn't expect me to do it. I don't mind doing things for him because he does so much for me we both feel that way so there is no power struggle.

A bad book is the worse that it cannot repent. It has not been the devil's policy to keep the masses of mankind in ignorance but finding that they will read he is doing all in his power to poison their books.

Liberty consists in the power of doing that which is permitted by the law.

To achieve you need thought. You have to know what you are doing and that's real power.

We found out tonight how important and how crucial momentum swings can be. I thought we were playing very well. We were doing a lot of positive things but then we lost the puck two times in our zone and things swung their way. You can't afford to give teams momentum.

I don't know why they're doing it. I have to assume that their motives are positive not negative. But they don't understand the severity of the problem in this state.

We've certainly learned a lot of lessons from Katrina from Rita. Rita was better than Katrina. We're doing a better job planning. We're closer - more closely aligned with the Department of Defense. These things would be positive things if we were to have another attack.

I think that Americans should gradually begin to adopt positive behavior rather than doing evil. They should not expect an immediate reaction in return for their positive measures. It will take time.

I think everyone goes through chapters in their life and there was a time when I wasn't feeling terribly positive about what I was contributing to film or wasn't feeling as if I was going in the direction I wanted and I re-evaluated what I was doing.

I'm concentrating on the positive on all the wonderful things I'm doing now.

Now is the time for the U.S. and the nations of Western Europe who engaged in the slave trade throughout this hemisphere to come forward in a positive way to assist in undoing the harm that was caused by their past colonial policies in the hemisphere.

At the end of the day the question comes what are you doing for the world? You have to try to do something that's going to add something positive.

I've noticed that my resolutions involve me not doing stuff that I wasn't going to do anyway so here's something more positive. I'm going to retrain as a Latin teacher in a provincial public school.
