As skills and energy became more of a demand people who didn't have skills just got left behind got shuttled to the side. Education didn't keep up with their promise. Education didn't prepare them for this new world. Jobs went overseas.

The buildings that I build very often have a dreamlike reality. I don't mean by that they have a fantasy quality at all in fact quite the reverse. They contain in some degree the ingredients that give dreams their power... stuff that's very close to us.

My own dreams fortunately came true in this great state. I became Mr. Universe I became a successful businessman. And even though some people say I still speak with a slight accent I have reached the top of the acting profession.

Just what future the Designer of the universe has provided for the souls of men I do not know I cannot prove. But I find that the whole order of Nature confirms my confidence that if it is not like our noblest hopes and dreams it will transcend them.

The universe we observe has precisely the properties we should expect if there is at bottom no design no purpose no evil no good nothing but blind pitiless indifference.

A lot of people in our industry haven't had very diverse experiences. So they don't have enough dots to connect and they end up with very linear solutions without a broad perspective on the problem. The broader one's understanding of the human experience the better design we will have.

I think that obviously there is a perverse attraction to a fundamentally changed world or the end of the world. There is a death wish a perverse death wish. Not just for ourselves not just for the movie 'Death Wish ' but for the end of all human life.

We simply do not understand our place in the universe and have not the courage to admit it.

Leaders come in many forms with many styles and diverse qualities. There are quiet leaders and leaders one can hear in the next county. Some find strength in eloquence some in judgment some in courage.

My friend and I sang an a cappella rendition of Extreme's 'More Than Words' at one of our football pep rallies in a desperate attempt to look cool. For a while I wore pink Converse All Stars because I thought it made me seem daring and irreverent.

My perfect guy wears converse is totally laid back and doesn't worry about being cool.

Let your soul stand cool and composed before a million universes.

Yet in this global economy no jobs are safe. High-speed Internet connections and low-cost skilled labor overseas are an explosive combination.

Every day I try to be in communication with the universe in an unconscious way.

It's good for everyone to understand that they are to love their enemies simply because your enemies show you things about yourself you need to change. So in actuality enemies are friends in reverse.

The universe is change our life is what our thoughts make it.

Observe constantly that all things take place by change and accustom thyself to consider that the nature of the Universe loves nothing so much as to change the things which are and to make new things like them.
