I actually thought that it would be a little confusing during the same period of your life to be in one meeting when you're trying to make money and then go to another meeting where you're giving it away. I mean is it gonna erode your ability you know to make money? Are you gonna somehow get confused about what you're trying to do?

Growing up my sisters and I would always talk stories. One of my frustrations was I didn't know anything about cameras. I didn't know how to make a film and I obviously didn't have a special effects budget. I was a kid. So I was learning to draw to get down the stuff that was in my head that I couldn't afford to actually do.

Today when I think about diversity I actually think about the word 'inclusion.' And I think this is a time of great inclusion. It's not men it's not women alone. Whether it's geographic it's approach it's your style it's your way of learning the way you want to contribute it's your age - it is really broad.

Children don't just play any more - they're far too busy learning to fence and taking extra French classes. In the end you're actually doing more damage to your children by trying to hot-house them. It's far better to remain a calm parent.

The problem for me is that I've never actually studied photography so it's quite a steep learning curve. Cameras these days do so much for you automatically but I still think there's a point where you should actually know the technical side.
