Age is a terrible avenger. The lessons of life give you so much to work with but by the time you've got all this great wisdom you don't get to be young anymore.

Every time I see something terrible it's like I see it at age 19. I keep a freshness that way.

Why do people talk of the horrors of old age? It's great. I feel like a fine old car with the parts gradually wearing out but I'm not complaining ... Those who find growing old terrible are people who haven't done what they wanted with their lives.
