My daddy Rev. A. D. King my granddaddy Martin Luther King Senior - we are a family of faith hope and love.

My faith is the grand drama of my life. I'm a believer so I sing words of God to those who have no faith.

But whatever my failure I have this thing to remember - that I was a pioneer in my profession just as my grandfathers were in theirs in that I was the first man in this section to earn his living as a writer.

And actually about three weeks ago Micky Peter and I were in Vegas at the MGM Grand. And we did about 12 shows in seven days. It was quite an experience.

My worst hair experience was when I was trying to relax my hair and my grandmother did it. It went all straight and I looked like a black Bee Gee.

I want to be able to experience everything. I want to experience being a husband experience being a father experience maybe hopefully someday being a grandfather and all those things. I want that experience. When I die I want to be exhausted.

And we're seeing a higher level of consciousness and many more opportunities for people to challenge their present ways of thinking and move into a grander and larger experience of who they really are.

Today there are people trying to take away rights that our mothers grandmothers and great-grandmothers fought for: our right to vote our right to choose affordable quality education equal pay access to health care. We the people can't let that happen.

My grandfather could barely read. My grandmother had a sixth-grade education. They were people who were industrious. They were frugal.

My grandmother lived to be 100 years old. Her grandmother was a slave yet she was a college graduate in the Spellman class of 1917. She taught art for 50 years and she saved her Social Security checks for her children's education.

I had never done anything with blue screen before or prosthetics or anything like that. Lord of the Rings was like stepping into a videogame for me. It was another world completely. But to be honest I basically did it so that I could have the ears. I thought they would really work with my bare head.Working with Martin Scorsese was an absolute minute-by-minute education without him ever being grandiose about it.

Youth is in a grand flush like the hot days of ending summer and pleasant dreams thrall your spirit like the smoky atmosphere that bathes the landscape of an August day.

I part of this great nation because my grandfather was born here in Cincinnati Ohio. He took a horse back in 1895 and ride it all the way down to Guanajuato looking for his American dream. No penny in his pocket only dreams in his head. And he was an immigrant coming from the States into Mexico. And he found his American dream in Mexico.

I'm not certain but I have a little gypsy blood in me. And my mother always told me that her grandma could give someone the evil eye and I'd better not cross her because she had some of that blood in her. Mother always believed that she could predict the future and she had dreams that came true.

You have all the reason in the world to achieve your grandest dreams. Imagination plus innovation equals realization.
