American and Israel share a special bond. Our relationship is unique among all nations. Like America Israel is a strong democracy a symbol of freedom and an oasis of liberty a home to the oppressed and persecuted.

We will not be intimidated or pushed off the world stage by people who do not like what we stand for and that is freedom democracy and the fight against disease poverty and terrorism.

For us democracy is a question of human dignity. And human dignity is political freedom.
