The great thing that guys like Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg and the Google guys have in common is they treat their technology like it's art and I suppose in the hands of virtuosos like them it is.
Humor is richly rewarding to the person who employs it. It has some value in gaining and holding attention but it has no persuasive value at all.
