I am a big fan of the old Howard Hawks films from the 30s and 40s I was a big Hepburn and Tracey fan for a while and Woody Allen films that are a very different kind of romantic comedy.
The Language Poets are writing only about language itself. The Ashbery poets are writing only about poetry itself. That seems to me a kind of dead end.
